Woman shot near major Jaguar Land Rover plant
A woman has been left in a serious condition after being shot near a Jaguar Land Rover site.
Police have launched an investigation after the attack at around 9am on Tuesday on Dovehouse Lane in Olton, Solihull.
The woman was shot in the shoulder and has since been taken to hospital.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "No arrests have been made, but officers believe this is an isolated incident.
"Our main priority is the safety and security of the public, specialist officers are in the area and local schools have been advised accordingly.

The incident happened close by to Lode Lane where the giant JLR factory is located.
