Stephanie and Rohan Lewis, both aged 27 of Skiddle Drive, West Bromwich, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates court on Monday charged with entering property as a trespasser.

They were also charged with theft and being in possession of a bladed article.

The pair allegedly entered a house on Monsal Avenue, Heath Town, through the back door on August 27 after tracking Miss Lewis' phone to the address.

The duo entered the house through the back door and Rohan allegedly held a knife to the throat of the male victim living there and asked him to hand over the phone.

A laptop was also allegedly taken from the house in the incident.

The court heard how the two then surrendered to Bilston Police station following the offences.

They were both granted conditional bail.

The case has been transferred to Wolverhampton Crown Court for pleas to be heard on September 26.
