There will be a mix of physical and digital events in a range of different subjects, from recruitment, jobs and skills; energy efficiency; mental health in the workplace; investment and tourism opportunities for the region to starting a new business.

The festival will also offer opportunities to learn new skills or business tactics, and there are events that showcase new technologies or ways of working that might improve business efficiency.

Events are all free to attend but tickets must be booked in advance through the website www.blackcountrybusinessfestival.com

The festival was initiated by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce three years ago and chamber chief executive Corin Crane said: “The Black Country never ceases to impress me - the fact that we have almost 100 events in our Festival this year just goes to show what a resilient region we operate in.

“The chamber is running a number of our own events in the festival. These include our Third Week Wednesday networking session as well as a debate involving the key business support agencies around how businesses can survive and grow during a recession, Brexit and a pandemic.

“There will be an abundance of fantastic opportunities generated through thefestival and I would encourage everyone to make the most of what the programme has to offer.”
