Armed police raid Dudley house as dogs seized

A man was arrested on suspicion of theft following an armed police raid on a house in Dudley this morning.

Officers used a saw to get though the front door of the address in Minehead Road at 7.30am.

The 26-year-old man was arrested. Three dogs were also seized from the house over fears of officers' safety.

At about 10.30am, police left the address. One resident, who did not want to be named, said: "We heard the raid on the house, we are a bit shocked and wondering what it is about."
