Little Women to be screened in Bilston

An Oscar-winning film is to be screened at Bilston Town Hall next week.

Little Women, which was nominated for six and won on Academy Awards, will be shown on Monday(16).

It is the seventh film adaptation of the 1868 novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott.

It stars Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Laura Dern and Meryl Streep.

The screening, organised by the Friends of Bilston Town Hall, will take place at the hall, in Church Street, at 1.30pm, with doors opening at 1pm.

Tickets cost £3.50 and are available by calling 07855 817596. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased from Bilston Library and Cafe Metro, in Church Street.

The Friends of Bilston Town Hall organise film screenings every other month. The next screening will be on May 18.
