ARQ jazz group to star at Wolverhampton concert
Bass player Alison Rayner brings her band ARQ to the Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton on Friday, for a session in the venue’s Jazz At The NAC series.

Rayner’s group is described as playing “songs without words”, with folk-infused melodies given the jazz treatment.
Included in the line-up is guitarist Deidre Cartwright, with whom Rayner played for many years in the band Guest Stars.
The concert starts at 8pm.
