Biffy Clyro to play Birmingham

Biffy Clyro will play a show in Birmingham later this year.

The announcement follows the release of the Scottish trio's eighth studio album, entitled Balance, Not Symmetry.

The album accompanies a film created by Welsh director Jamie Adams and starring film will star Laura Harrier, Bria Vinaite, Tasmin Egerton, Freya Mavor, Kate Dickie, Scott Miller, and Lily Newmark. It premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival on June 23.

Formed in 1995, Biffy Clyro are best known for songs such as Many Of Horror, Black Chandelier, Bubbles, Re-Arrange, Mountains, God and Satan, That Golden Rule, The Captain, Living is a Problem Because Everything Dies and more.

They have been nominated for a range of accolades, and in 2013 were awarded an NME Award for Best British Band.

The band have sold in excess of 1,240,000 albums and 400,000 singles in the UK alone.

Biffy Clyro will play Digbeth Arena on October 17.
