Glee stars Lea Michele and Darren Criss will perform at Arena Birmingham later this year.

American actress, singer and author Lea Michele began her career as a child actress on Broadway, appearing in productions of Les Misérables, Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof and more.

She rose to prominence in 2009 when she starred in hit Fox series Glee as Rachel Berry, for which she received an Emmy Award nomination and two Golden Globe nominations.

The 32-year-old star also earned three Grammy Award nominations for music she recorded for the show.

She has gone on to star in Scream Queens, as well as make her film debut in 2001 in New Year's Eve.

Darren Criss is one of the founding members and co-owners of Starkid Productions, a musical theatre company best known for A Very Potter Musical.

The 31-year-old actor, singer and songwriter first rose to prominence in 2009 when he starred alongside Rachel as Blaine Anderson in Glee.

Darren's first number, a cover version of Katy Perry hit Teenage Dream, became the fastest-selling Glee single, reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100, and was certified gold in the US.

He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2015 for writing the song This Time for the Glee finale.

Since then he has gone on to form indie pop band Computer Games alongside his brother Chuck Criss, as well as star in true crime anthology The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

Lea Michele and Darren Criss will appear at Arena Birmingham on December 7.
