Bantock House Museum and Park held a day of events at the park in Finchfield, inviting people from all over the city to enjoy the park and the museum ahead of the switch-on of the park's Christmas lights.

There was a Christmas Craft fair throughout the day, selling items such as homemade preserves, baked goods, jewellery, fashion, art, photography, papercraft and candles.

Father Christmas was present to meet people on his sleigh and entertainment was provided by Signal 107, with Content Controller and Breakfast Presenter Dicky Dodd leading proceedings.
