The 21-year-old has signed a three-year contract plus a further 12-month option pending the completion of his medical, which started yesterday and continued today.

It's the third summer signing for head coach Kenny Jackett, after Rajiv Van La Parra and Tommy Rowe's arrival at Molineux.

Jackett said: "It's a permanent deal on a three year contract plus a year's option. He's a really good young player.

"He's just turned 21 and has been brought through at Chelsea with a very good pedigree.

"He hasn't made many Championship appearances but he did very well for Brentford last season and I think he's a terrific addition for us.

"He's an attacking midfield player and has an very good left foot and an ability to create."
