Wolves' Sam Ricketts now set for Swindon
Wolves club captain Sam Ricketts looks set to join League One Swindon Town on loan after they edged ahead of Coventry City in the race for his signature.
The Wales international is preparing to move to the County Ground in search of first-team football, after he fell down the pecking order at Molineux.
New Coventry manager Tony Mowbray confirmed his interest in the 33-year-old, but admitted he might struggle to guarantee Ricketts games.
Swindon boss Mark Cooper has now stepped in for him and appears to be favourite to land the versatile defender.
Ricketts is out-of-contract at Molineux in the summer and has only made four Championship appearances so far this season.
