Kingsyard Official took to Instargram to offer advice for those looking to attract robins to feeders.

They said: "Try adding apple slices, raisins, suet, mealworms or peanut hearts to draw them in. As winter approaches, robins will be looking for fresh water.”

A heated bird bath could also encourage the birds to visit gardens allowing for Christmas joy to be spread by the much loved birds.
