‘Deserves every moment' - Kieran Trippier's tribute to Wolves hero Sean Neave
Kieran Trippier’s praised Wolves hero Sean Neave after their dramatic victory.
Kieran Trippier says Wolves loanee Sean Neave “deserves every moment” after his dramatic late heroics at Bristol City.
Newcastle United loanee Neave struck twice in the closing stages to extend Wolves’ unbeaten run to five games and send them into the Championship’s automatic promotion places.

Trippier, who captained Wolves on the night, knows the 19-year-old from their time together at Newcastle and was delighted to see him make such an impact.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “I know what’s he all about. He deserves every moment because I’ve seen how hard he works both at Wolves and Newcastle.
“I always look after him behind the scenes as senior player. I couldn’t be happier.”
Trippier also played his part in the comeback, delivering the free-kick which Ladislav Krejci nodded into Neave’s path for the winning goal.
Wolves came from behind to win, just as they did in their previous away outing at Burnley last month, and the result lifted them into second place as their promotion push gathered pace.
Reflecting on the comeback, Trippier added: “It’s about staying together at half-time and we did. Now we are second in the league.”
