Wingmen facing a new fight
Wolves wing duo Matt Jarvis and Michael Kightly today welcomed the possibility of a scramble for their places this month.
Wolves wing duo Matt Jarvis and Michael Kightly today welcomed the possibility of a scramble for their places this month.

The club have confirmed interest in Middlesbrough wideman Adam Johnson, while they have also been linked with another left-sided player in Tottenham's Jamie O'Hara, who is on loan at Portsmouth.
Jarvis and Kightly have been Wolves' first choice wingers for the last two-and-a-half years, but injury has robbed them of the chance to terrorise defences in tandem as regularly as they would like.
While Jarvis has remained fully fit this season, Kightly is expected to be sidelined until the end of the month after ankle surgery.
With Dave Edwards and Andy Keogh also out, boss Mick McCarthy's options for natural replacements are limited. But the main pair are determined to fight for their place if Wolves sign a winger before February 2.
"There's always competition for places and if we do sign someone in my position then I'll have to battle away and work extremely hard to try to keep my place," said Jarvis.
Kightly said: "It's always healthy to have good competition for places. I'd like to think when I'll fully fit and playing well I'd have a good chance of being in the team."
Wolves have no interest in another wideman linked yesterday, Hull's out of favour Kevin Kilbane. The former Albion winger is understood to be prepared to move after failing to get regular football this season.
