An Indian restaurant in Tipton has picked up a major industry award.
Major Curry Affair in Dudley Port won Restaurant of the Year at the 19th Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) Awards 2026, which celebrate excellence in the British Bangladeshi restaurant sector.
The awards celebrate the chefs, restaurateurs, staff and entrepreneurs behind British Bangladeshi restaurants and takeaways.
The winners were announced at the 19th BCA Awards on Sunday at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London.
Celebrating their success, the restaurant posted on social media: “Major Curry Affair is extremely proud to WIN this prestigious award! The hard work from Tarik/ award winning chef Koyes and their team has really paid off!!!
“Thank you to everyone one of you who has supported us over the years! We are extremely grateful!
“Thank you all so much! If you are yet to try Major Curry Affair, why not now...we very recently refurbished our restaurant!”
