Jimenez struck twice in the 3-0 victory over West Ham on Tuesday, taking his tally to 10 for the season in all competitions.

And, with him currently on loan from Benfica with fans hoping the move will be made permanent, the Mexican is loving life at Molineux.

"I feel very comfortable here, so I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing to give the supporters much happiness," said Jimenez.

"I think my season to the moment is good.

“It’s a dream. When I was in Mexico, I always saw the matches here in the Premier League. It was amazing to watch the games, all the intensity and passion that the teams play with.

"Now, I’m here making my dream come true, so I’m going to keep working and doing the things to give supporters happiness.

“I’ve enjoyed it a lot. It’s amazing, the moment you hear the fans shouting your name. They are shouting because you score a goal, it’s an amazing feeling.

“I think I’m doing things well. I’m an important part of the team, so that’s given me confidence.

"I’m giving good performances, so I’ll keep trying to do the same in the next matches."

Jimenez's goals came after Romain Saiss opened the scoring with a 66th-minute header.

He added: "All my team-mates were fantastic. It’s the first time I’ve scored two goals in a game (for Wolves), so I’m very happy for that and the team performance.

“I’m very happy to score two, and I had a chance at the end, maybe I could do a bit more, but this is football, sometimes it goes in, sometimes out.”
