'Elegant' Sam Field impresses West Brom's Ben Foster
Goalkeeper Ben Foster has praised both Brendan Galloway and Sam Field for their impressive Premier League debuts in Albion stripes.
Galloway, who joined on a season-long loan from Everton, provided a pacy attacking threat down the left flank in the drab goalless draw with Middlesbrough on Sunday.

But it was 18-year-old Baggies fan Sam Field, whose pin-point metronomic passing in central midfield, that had supporters purring, and Albion's 33-year-old keeper predicts a big future for the teenager.
"For a lad who's 18, he's very composed, he almost looks elegant on the ball," said Foster. "He gets his head up, knows where players are around him, uses his body very well, and he keeps it simple.
"For somebody of his age that's the most important thing, keep it simple and find your way into the game and then you can start playing those cross-field balls and channel balls and stuff like that. He's got a huge future ahead of him."
Field has been at the club since the age of eight, and he was handed his first Premier League start in Albion colours after impressing in the League Cup exit at Northampton Town.
"The fact that he's starting Premier League games at 18 is absolutely amazing," said Foster. "You don't get to see it these days, especially from home grown players."
Down to earth and incredibly humble, Field is a late bloomer who caught the eye of head coach Tony Pulis after a growth spurt.
Foster reckons the 18-year-old has every chance of becoming a first team regular this season.
"He's got all the attributes," said Albion's shot-stopper. "Off the field he's a great lad, he's super calm, super composed, he's almost too nice!
"He's just a lovely kid, I heard his family are really nice and locals too so he's got a great grounding to start with.
"You see players like that come through and you wish the best for them, you hope it works out and with Sam that's definitely the case."
Galloway's performance also stood out on Sunday, and even though it's early days, it looks like the 20-year-old defender has fixed Albion's long-running left-back problem for this season.
"I thought it was a fantastic debut from him," said Foster. "It's always nice to come off from a debut with a clean sheet but the way he played in general was really composed and it was just easy for him to be honest.
"He looks like a natural left-back and it was nice to have one there, because it's not something we've necessarily played with for the last couple of seasons in all honesty.
"Fair play to the lad he's done very well."
