Flexible Albion

The team news surprised and potentially worried Albion fans.

Carlos Corberan went with a back four, but it was the decision to take out Brandon Thomas-Asante to rest the front man and play without a striker that concerned some.

It worked to perfection but what it showed is that despite the lack of depth up top, they can play a different way, and mix it around.

Jed Wallace was terrific down the middle and huge credit has to go to the out of form wide man playing in the central role.

It also shows Albion can mix it up and slip into a back four seamlessly.

Is Grady back?
