Carlos Corberan has publicly stated he wants more additions, and Albion are working hard to make that happen under the financial restraints the club faces.

Corberan has said the club will have to utilise the free and loan market, having used the latter to sign Jeremy Sarmiento from Brighton.

Big clubs tend to send most of their youngsters out on loan towards the end of the window, so it may well be the case that Albion do a lot of business close to the September 1 deadline.

If they do, here are a handful of highly rated youngsters at Premier League clubs that they could look at:

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (Crystal Palace)

The 20-year-old is highly rated at Palace and has already gained EFL experience, netting 15 times in 43 games for Charlton Athletic last season.

The next step could well be the Championship.

He has been attracting interest from a host of clubs this summer, so if Albion did try and land him and were successful it would be a major coup.

Rak-Sakyi plays out wide but also up front and that is an area Corberan wants to strengthen.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis

The Manchester City defender has been one of the most highly rated defenders in the Championship in recent years.
