The Manchester City loanee has cemented himself in the Baggies back-line in recent weeks after a series of consistent performances.

Head coach Darren Moore is delighted with the 21-year-old’s progress, and has backed him to reach the very top.

And he’s urged Manchester City to let him see out his season-long loan, because he will get valuable minutes at The Hawthorns.

“He’s mature for one so young,” said Moore. “He’s got a size and a stature, a great understanding of the game and a wonderful temperament.

“We know where he’s been for the last couple of years. There’s no mental or physical step for him coming here.

“The boy has a determination to go to the very highest level of the game.

“We’re pleased to have him here at West Brom and be part of his development. He’s doing really well at the moment.”

Moore has been tracking Adarabioyo for a while, and when he became available on loan in summer, he jumped at the chance to take him.

“He was somebody I spotted last year,” revealed the head coach. “I just thought he was right as a youngster to add to the experience we’ve got in the squad.

“We watched him last year in a cup match when Man City played Leicester.

"We also spotted him in under-23s games and the Next Gen series, we watched him a lot in that.

“When the opportunity came, I wanted to bring him in. I felt he would contribute, and so far he has. And he’s getting stronger as well.”

Adarabioyo is on a season-long loan at The Hawthorns, and could be recalled by Manchester City in January, but Moore believes his career is benefiting from his time in the Championship.

“You can never say never,” admitted Moore. “We’re pleased to have him here from Man City and we hope him being here and playing games, he’s being developed in the right way.

“We hope he’s enjoying the environment and challenge the Championship presents. When he’s at his very best he can handle the level, which he’s shown.

“My expectation from him grew immensely when we suffered an injury on the eve of the Nottingham Forest game and to play in that game, in that type of match, in the position he did (right-back), was absolutely superb.

“I thought ‘he’s got a bright future ahead of him’.”
