Oliver Burke's arrival from RB Leipzig for £15million, which was confirmed this morning, has allowed Tyler Roberts to join Walsall on loan until January.

And Pulis is confident he will get more first-team additions that allow him to send his other youngsters out on loan.

“We’ve got Leko, Kane and Rak hopefully going out on loan this week so those three now - if we get the players we want in - will be given the opportunity to play league football," he said.

“We see those three as very good young players but what they lack is what Burke has got, which is those games and that experience of playing games.

“Those deals are close to being done, fingers crossed. There are clubs in the Championship and clubs in League One and League Two and we want to get these kids playing. We need them to be playing."

Pulis wants four more signings to follow Burke through The Hawthorns door before the window shuts next Thursday.

Roberts, an 18-year-old forward who can play up front or on the wing, joined the Saddlers on a six-month loan hours after Burke was confirmed.

Centre-back Dara O'Shea, 18, has joined Hereford FC in the Southern League Premier Division on a six-month loan.

However, 19-year-old Sam Field, who has started the first two games of the season, may be kept in the Albion squad.
