Coleshill Town 1 Halesowen Town 1 - Report

Halesowen got a point at Coleshill, and may be disappointed, after an all action first half which saw them 1-0 up but that could have been more.

It was Halesowen's 13th game unbeaten in all competitions and they are only five points off the top two teams of Corby and Berkhamstead with three games in hand on each.

The visitors started well and on four minutes Jamie Ashmore put a ball in which Ahmed Ali flicked onto the post.

But the prolific Montel Gibson made no mistake three minutes later when he finished a neat move from close range after a Robbie Bunn cross was headed in.

Defender James Bowen tried a long shot on 25 minutes which went just over and the first half was all Halesowen, in front of a large travelling contingent of away fans.

The second half saw Coleshill put the pressure on in an attempt to get back on terms and almost equalised on the break after a Halesowen corner was cleared.

It was a penalty on 77 minutes which eventually gave the home side a point, with Liam Molesworth converting.
