Nathan Delfouneso on new Villa deal

Nathan Delfouneso is getting ready for his big season of opportunity at Villa boosted by a new three-year deal.

The 20-year-old striker has tied himself to Villa until 2014 and is hoping that the arrival of new manager Alex McLeish presents his big chance for first-team action.

Delfouneso, who was on loan at Burnley late last season, said: "I'm very happy with the new contract.

"Hopefully that's the start of what I want to do for this season and for the future. It's time to kick on now.

"I feel it's going to be a big season for me."
