Andy Pearson is pictured here with his father Geoff and mates watching England's 6-1 win against Panama in his back garden in Netherton.

The 31-year-old will again be in his garden today with 20 friends for England's quarter final game against Sweden at 3pm.

The picture, which features 11 people including nine wearing England shirts, has won a competition run by the Express & Star.

We asked readers to send in pictures showing how they are getting behind England.

Mr Pearson, who works at media group Yell, said: "Getting my friends round and putting on a barbecue for the game made a fantastic day.

"We even played football in the back garden with one of my friend's, Kev, scoring a diving header."

He added: "We'll be getting together for Sweden game again in my back garden.

"It is going to a tough game but I think we might nick it late on, I'm going for a 2-1 victory.

"I think we can even go on and win it."

Other readers to send in pictures included Josh Lea and James Robinson, from Stafford, who were out in Moscow for the Colombia game.

Sue Childs, from Hednesford, sent in a picture of her dog watching the half-time analysis of the same game.
