We're not saying they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

It seems Wolves are to miss out on John O'Shea, with the Sunderland man set to re-sign with the Black Cats.

Wolves were linked with the experienced defender with Nuno Espirito Santo keen on bolstering his back line, however he'll now need to look elsewhere.

The Republic of Ireland defender is 36 years of age now, although his experience may have been beneficial at Molineux.

Meanwhile, Jed Wallace's Wolves exit could trigger a shift in the transfer goings on.

A deal which will see the 24-year-old leave for the Den was almost completed last week, only to be delayed at the 11th hour.

Wolves summer transfer business is expected to move up a gear beginning with his exit.

West Brom

Everton are the latest team to be linked with a move for West Brom defender Jonny Evans.

The centre-back is one of Albion's top players and is likely to replace Darren Fletcher as captain following the latter's move to Stoke.

However, Ronald Koeman is reportedly keeping tabs on the 29-year-old, who's also on Leicester's radar as they prepare a second bid for the Northern Ireland international.

Also, Hull City have paced an £8m price tag on Scottish left-back Andrew Robertson.

Tony Pulis is keen on filling the position, although is favouring deals for the spine of his team first.

Albion have been linked with the 23-year-old, although they'll need to do battle with Burnley, Watford, Newcastle and Liverpool for his signature.

Aston Villa

Stoke City are waiting on Villa to improve upon their first bid for midfielder Glenn Whelan.

Bruce is keen on adding the 33-year-old, and originally submitted a £500,000 bid for his services which was turned down by the Potters.

The Irishman is set to leave the Bet365 following Darren Fletcher's arrival, although Mark Hughes is keen to make £1m from his sale.

Carles Gil could be set to leave B6 for a fee of £1.75m this summer, with Real Betis keen on bringing the Spaniard home.

Villa are thought to want closer to £4m for him, a price which Betis won't be able to pay, according to reports.

Tony Xia is keen on funding deals this summer with player sales, meaning some negotiations may need to take place to make all parties happy.

Walsall

Jon Whitney said it is still possible midfielder George Dobson could return to the Saddlers for a second spell.

The 19-year-old made 26 appearances for Walsall last season after joining on a season long loan from West Ham.

Dobson has previously stated he is eager to go out on loan again next season and confirmed he would be interested in returning to the Banks's.
