Wolverhampton sprinter Matthew Hudson-Smith set for mouthwatering Quincy Hall matchup
The two sprinters will go head-to-head for the first time since their iconic Olympic 400m final in Paris two years ago.
Matthew Hudson-Smith will faceoff with Olympic champion Quincy Hall at the Novuna London Athletic Meet on July 18.

This will be the first head-to-head between the pair since their memorable 400m final at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Wolverhampton sprinter Hudson-Smith ran a European record time of 43.44 in the French capital - but only took home silver with Hall posting a personal best 43.40 to claim gold.
The race went down as one of the fastest in Olympic history with five runners beating 44 seconds - while Hall and Hudson-Smith established themselves as fourth and fifth respectively on the world all-time list.
“There was a lot of madness last year. I had hamstring injuries and I will ill, then in the build-up to Tokyo, I became a dad, which was amazing but obviously stressful too,” Hudson-Smith said.
“Things have settled down now. My winter training has gone well and I have an exciting summer ahead.
“It would mean a lot to me to return to the London Stadium and deliver another strong performance for the fans that have always backed me.
“I think my perspective had changed a bit over the last few months and that’s probably for the better.
“Staying healthy is my priority. Before, I was doing this all for myself, chasing for glory, chasing medals, but now I want to create history and great memories for my family. I think the best is still to come.”
