A chance to celebrate summer and the end of exam stress, the school prom has become a rite of passage for British youngsters in the 21st century.
Dates, dresses, suits and all sorts of transport regularly feature in the tradition adopted from across the pond.
And of course a crucial part of the evening is the photos and the memories they capture.
We're putting together an online gallery of 2019 prom photos but we need your help.
