Sandwell Council's planning committee is expected to rubber-stamp a proposal from Countryside Properties UK for the land off Hall Green Road.

The plan would see a total of 223 houses being built, with 153 of those being three-bedroom, 36 being four-bedroom and 34 being two-bedroom.

A proposal for 250 houses on the site was first put forward in 2012, with outline planning permission granted in 2014, but the work never materialised.

Countryside Properties UK said their proposed scheme would provide a boost and sought-after housing to the area.
