Ronan Kanda's killers back in court as mother hopes they receive longer sentences

Prabjeet Veadhesa and Sukhman Shergill, both 17, are appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday before Mr Justice Choudhury, the judge who sentenced them.

Veadhesa was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 18 years for murder and Shergill was given life with a minimum tariff of 16 years.

Both were also sentenced to eight months for possession of a bladed article, to run concurrently.

Ronan's mother Pooja Kanda told the Express & Star: "Our police family liaison officer told us they will be in court concerning their sentences.
