Zane died from his injuries after being stabbed in The Haymarket area of Pendeford on May 27 last year.

Wolverhampton Crown Court was previously told there was tension between the two youths, who were in a fight four months before Zane was fatally stabbed during a pre-arranged meeting in which both boys armed.

The defendant, now aged 17, denies murder and possession of a knife in public without lawful excuse. The trial continues.
