Mask-wearing character on van to clap for NHS

This mask-wearing character will be clapping for the NHS this week to uplift spirits during the coronavirus pandemic.

The van, which is a regular sight around Wolverhampton, belongs to mechanic Neil Turner of Codsall, who dresses up the character regularly.

He said: "It's a bit of fun, I thought it would show support for the NHS.

"He's got clapping arms too, we're looking for some music to play so it will hopefully be ready for Thursday evening.

"We dress him up as different things, he's been Father Christmas, Elvis, Donald Trump and others."
