Car overturns after hitting a lamppost in Wolverhampton
A busy road outside Wolverhampton city centre was blocked after a car overturned after hitting a lamppost.
Motorists faced delays coming into the city through Chapel Ash after the crash at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.
A man was assessed by ambulance crews and his injuries are not yet known.
The car landed on its side in the middle of the road following the crash.
Wolverhampton Council warned drivers about delays in the area while the stricken car was cleared.
The route was cleared by around 4:30pm.
