The Haven held its second annual ball on Saturday at The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall.

Guests arrived in their 1920s gear - from flat caps, to pocket watches, flapper dresses and head pieces.

The Voice's Megan Reece performed to the sold-out event, who is also an official ambassador for The Haven.

The night also featured a three-course meal, live and silent auction, a raffle, disco, and a prize for best dressed, which went to Debra Lambert who had not only handmade her costume, but also travelled five hours for the evening.

Jade Secker, senior community fundraiser at The Haven, said: "We are delighted that the event was the success that it was and guests have all said how much they enjoyed themselves.

"The support for the charity was really felt within the room; especially when Megan shared her story and sang her set.

"We raised an incredible £4,000 which will literally make such a difference to the lives of women and children we support at The Haven.

"We are so grateful to everyone who came along; their support means so much to us.”
