Wolverhampton Outreach and organisation Helping Hearts for the Homeless will host an evening in Wolverhampton where hot food, drink and gifts will be handed out to the city's rough sleepers.

This year, the groups are returning to the Soup Kitchen in Darlington Street Methodist Church in the city centre and need as many donations as possible to make the evening a success.

Donations of clothes, food and drink are welcome, including anything to contribute to the Christmas dinner.

Non-perishable foods such as tins of beans are also needed, alongside chocolate and Christmas crackers.

Any donations must be given to the organisers and not the church itself.

People wishing to donate can contact Zara Sands on zarasands@yahoo.com or visit the Facebook page here.
