New 3G pitch for Walsall
A new all weather artificial grass pitch will be built in Walsall after plans were given the green light.
Plans for the new 3G pitch at Rushall Olympic Football Club in Daw End were approved by Walsall Council.
In the application it says: "The site is located within a live sports facility.
"The health and safety of all visitors, staff, the public and construction site staff is paramount.
"Our aim is to achieve practical completion with zero defects.
"GreenFields are committed to maintaining a robust and up to date quality management policy through on-going review, training and adaptation of its staff and sub-contract services.
"Through a FIFA Quality driven programme of checks and balances, combined with direct employment of qualified and trained contract managers, working closely with our experienced, nominated specialist sub-contractors, GreenFields operates practices that ensure both internal and external independent quality performance checks."
