Ashley and wife Nicole in their jujitsu gear

Ashley Edwards, 37, has run Faradays Fitness Club in the town with wife Nicole for the last two years.

The couple said they bought the business at Faradays Business Park as it fitted nicely around their passion for jujitsu and their sons' football training (five-year-old Oscar and Max, eight).

But when Ashley was working out alone on the night of Monday, July 17, he heard banging coming from a downstairs bathroom.

The father-of-two said: "It was about 10.15pm and I'd locked up the gym for the night and had decided to stay and work out as I'm competing in a jujitsu competition in December, so I was on the punch bags upstairs.
