Police ensure safe crossing of waddling geese in Wednesbury

West Midlands Police ensured what's good for the goose is good for the gander today.

The geese were given a police escort across a Wednesbury road

Wednesbury Town Police took a snap of a group of geese which officers ensured crossed a busy Sandwell road safely.

Each bird made it across safely.

Wednesbury Town Police tweeted: "A quick bit of traffic control over Woden Road South today, during our afternoon patrols. Happy to report that all the birds crossed safely...

"Now back to our patrols to gain intelligence and engage with the public."
