Police in Dudley have thanked a primary school for their supportive messages to key workers.

While on foot patrol in the Russell's Hall area, Dudley Town Police spotted a colourful display created by Russell's Hall Primary School.

The display was made to thank key workers, including hand-drawn hearts and rainbows.

There was also a red, white and blue themed tribute to say happy 100th birthday to inspiring fundraiser Captain Tom Moore.

Officers thanked the school for their kind messages.

Police tweeted: "Whilst on foot patrol in the Russell's Hall area. Came across these motivating and supportive messages for our NHS and key workers. Thank you Russell's Hall Primary School!"
