Two men who tried travelling from the Black Country to a seaside town by train without paying for a ticket have ended up having to fork out more than £800 each.

James Pitt and Kane Kirk made their way from Walsall to Blackpool North on March 27, a journey which should have cost them £53.90 each.

Upon arrival at their destination in Lancashire, neither man was able to show a valid ticket.
