Kidderminster man charged with having weapon and using blade to 'threaten'

A man from Kidderminster has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon after "threatening incidents" involving a blade.

Amari Canty has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, among other charges.

Amari Canty, aged 28 of Comberton Road in Kidderminster, has also been charged with two counts of threatening a person with a blade, affray, and a public order offence.

The charges relate to an incident in Middleton Road in Kidderminster on Friday.

He is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today.
