Gavin Brown, 36, has been charged with the murder of Craig Robins, while James Milligan, 41, Bernie Peter Smith, 30, and Kyle Neil Smith, 32, have been charged with his manslaughter.

Mr Robins - who was already paralysed from a car crash - was stabbed and assaulted in his car on Lomax Road on October 30, 2006. He was left needing full time care and died in 2019.

Milligan, of of Rowley Close, Hednesford; Bernie Smith, 30, also of Rowley Close, Hednesford; and Kyle Smith, 32, of Heath Green, Cannock; were bailed to appear before Stafford Crown Court on March 31 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
