Attempted murder arrest after man struck by car
A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was hit by a car in the West Midlands.
Police believe the man, in his 20s, was deliberately struck by a silver Vauxhall Astra on Hurst Lane, in the Shard End area of Birmingham, at around 6pm on Monday.
He remains in hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody on Tuesday.
