Man, 37, charged with conspiracy to murder after man shot five times

A man has been charged with conspiracy to murder after a 28-year-old was shot inside a house in the West Midlands.

The male victim suffered multiple injuries when he was shot five times in the property in Downsfield Road, in Sheldon, at around 10.30pm on Friday, May 29.

He has since been discharged from hospital.

West Midlands Police officers have now charged Connor Palmer with conspiracy to murder. Palmer, 37, from Brighton Road, in Burgh Heath, Surrey, has been remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.

Officers are continuing to appeal to anyone with information about the incident to call them on 101, quoting log number 4548 of May 29.
