Jury discharged in Wolverhampton murder trial
The Wolverhampton Crown Court jury hearing the trial of four men accused of the murder of Dwaine Haughton has been discharged for legal reasons.
The 24-year-old victim was shot dead in Valley Road, Park Village on July 20 last year. It is hoped to start a new trial next week.
Dwain Smith, 26, of Chainmakers Close, Bilston; Seamus Williams, 23, of Okemont Drive, Wednesbury, and Montell Gray, of Springfield Road, Wednesbury, together with Kurrum Guild, of Oakthorpe Gardens, all deny murder, possession of a firearm and ammunition to endanger life and handling a stolen car.
Smith, Williams and Guild also plead not guilty to arson.
They are all remanded in custody.
