Lee Bartram, of West Bromwich, also faced charges of making indecent images of children dating back to 2011.

The 44-year-old is alleged to have secretly filmed a young boy while walking in Birmingham city centre on April 13 last year while on duty for West Midlands Police.

The charges are in addition to offences he already pleaded guilty to at Wolverhampton Crown Court in August when he admitted making and distributing more than 300 indecent images of children, including a boy aged just six years old.

The new offences include making three category B still photographs, nine category B moving images and 134 category C still photographs between October 23, 2011, and August 6 this year.

The disgraced former officer, who wore a navy jacket and trousers, appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court accompanied by several members of his family and friends.

Bartram, of Bustleholme Lane, spoke only to give his name, address, date of birth and nationality during the 15 minute hearing.

The magistrates sent the case to Wolverhampton Crown Court for a hearing on November 29. His unconditional bail was extended.

Bartram was dismissed for gross misconduct at a hearing held at West Midlands Police headquarters in Birmingham last month.
