Festival organisers Black Country Chamber of Commerce said the decision has been to postpone the 2020 festival which had been due to run from May 11 to 22.

The new dates have been set as October 5 to 15.

"This action has been taken with a view to safeguarding this outstanding annual business event so that it remains a permanent feature in the Black Country business calendar long into the future.

"This is obviously a very fluid situation and we won’t know what the position will be in October. Should there be a requirement for live events not to go ahead at that time, we will be putting plans in place to run the entire business festival on a digital basis, with events being live-streamed using a platform that will be accessible to everyone," said a chamber spokeswoman.
