Birmingham man, 23, jailed for supporting ISIS and publishing terrorism material
Birmingham man jailed for six years for ISIS membership and distributing terrorist content.
A 23-year-old man identified as Musa Abdrabba, from Newport Road, Balsall Heath in Birmingham has been sentenced to 6 years.

Abdrabba pleaded guilty in September to two charges of belonging to a proscribed organisation.
This organisation which Abdrabba supported was ISIS.
Police detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands arrested Abdrabba in Percy Road, Sparkhill in October 2023.
The detectives found three phones which belonged to Abdrabba and found “terrorism material including extremely violent videos and bomb making instructions”.
In addition to this, Abdrabba, between the months of January and October 2023, used an alias to provide a media service publishing ISIS content.
Police said he’d translate social media posts, create content and engagement.
As part of this, Abdrabba, would offer advice on how to evade detection from authorities online.
“After Abdrabba pledged his allegiance to ISIS in August 2023, he was fully committed to the role of media facilitator to ensure their propaganda was widely shared and updated,” Head of Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands, Detective Chief Superintendent Alison Hurst had said.
She continued: “He took it upon himself to provide a service to a proscribed organisation and posted extremist material glorifying ISIS, he had no regard for the corrosive impact or the radicalising effect that the material could have on others in our communities.”
