A planning application was submitted and approved earlier this year.

The work is set to be "modest in scale" and largely confined to the bar of house cellars and operational bar zone.

It will be primarily maintenance, repair and services upgrades as well as minor alterations to existing fittings.

Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said earlier this year: "We are looking to complete a repair and refurbishment scheme in Bewdley which will include a staffroom upgrade, dispense upgrade, kitchen upgrade, new carpet, bar repairs, flooring repairs and cellar repairs for £464k cost."
