Sprout-picking season at Essington Farm
Hundreds of thousands of sprouts will be making their way on to plates across the region thanks to Essington Farm.
Co-owner Richard Simkin said the sprout-picking season will see about 200,000 of the healthy greens sold to customers ahead of Christmas Day.
The staff are now in the midst of the one of the busiest times of the year as the farm's meat and vegetables fly off the shelves.
