Lenny Henry transforms into Stevie Wonder for BBC birthday show - in pictures
Lenny Henry looks unrecognisable as he takes on the role of Stevie Wonder for a new TV show.
The 59-year-old Dudley actor has been pictured sporting a shaved head, braided locks and a sequinned tuxedo jacket to star as the music icon.
Lenny was also caught channelling other celebs, including British grime artist Stormzy.
These scenes will be part of a one-off BBC special that will mark his 60th birthday next month.
Hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald, the show will see Lenny taking a light-hearted look back at his various shows and extensive comedy career.
His celebrity transformations are not the only dramatic change the star has undergone lately, with Lenny showcasing a new svelte figure when he met the Queen at a reception at Buckingham Palace last month.
Lenny told the nationals his diet has largely consisted of 'broccoli and not much else', combined with running.
Later this year, Lenny will return to TV screens with his brand new show comedy It's Alive.
